They both used to work in customer service and are dedicated to making sure that you are truly happy with your gift and get it on time and in perfect condition.

More about Molliemoo in their own words

“Molliemoo is a truly organic and eco-friendly experience!

Through our experiences we believe that nothing is more breathtaking or life changing than bringing a tiny person into the world.

In our world today, everyone is trying to do their little bit to help preserve the environment and the planet that we live on. When babies are born this becomes even more important as we want to minimise the impact we have on the planet for them and for future generations. For this reason, Molliemoo was born.

We have created the most beautiful organic gift boxes that we personally would love to receive. All gifts are made purely from natural materials (no pesticides, chemicals or artificial colours etc) so best for baby, mum to be and the planet. They are also presented in a beautiful 100% recycled signature keepsake box that can be kept for years to come for all the little ones memories.

We want to ensure that a loved one, friend, work colleague will know that you have gone to the time and effort to find a beautiful, thought provoking gift, for them and their baby.”

Anna Taylor and Cathy Martin, founders of Molliemoo, are Identical twin sisters who both have children. Their selection of baby gift boxes includes a range that’s gender neutral and contains organic baby clothing suitable for a baby boy or girl as well as ranges that are perfect for baby boys or girls.

Mimimyne Receives Runner-Up Mum-Entrepreneur Award

A London-based businesswoman came Runner-Up in a major national award in a UK-wide scheme recognising the business of mum-entrepreneurs.

Tabitha Potts of Mimimyne in London was voted the ‘Runner-Up Mum-Entrepreneur of 2009’ at the Women’s Business Mastermind Awards 2009, by an expert panel of judges.

Tabitha said, “I am absolutely delighted to have received this important accolade, in a world where an increasing number of mums are taking the route of entrepreneurship to fit around their family.”

Tabitha started her business in September 2008 when she became frustrated looking for designer, eco friendly products her children, aged 7 and 4, could use and was inspired to create Mimimyne to help parents like herself shop online and enjoy peace of mind. She began visiting local and international trade shows and sourced some wonderful independent UK based designers (many of them mumpreneurs themselves) and has helped build a showcase for sustainable children’s design in the UK. She has achieved this while juggling childcare responsibilities and part-time work as a web content editor.

The awards, facilitated and judged by successful mumpreneur, Carmen MacDougall of The Virtual Assistant Coaching and Training Company and cma coaching and training , other judges included Jane Hopkins, Founder of Mums Club and Robyn Hatley of Mums the Business

Carmen MacDougall, who has been coaching and training mums around the UK and Europe over the last few years, to create and run their own business and coaching them in areas of confidence to communicate and present their business effectively, launched this award as part of her initiative to support mums in business around the UK.

Ms MacDougall says, “It is great to witness an increasing number of mothers who are confidently realising that they have valuable skills to offer and a great idea and so are now taking the plunge and establishing their own successful businesses which allows them to have more time around the family. With many being made redundant they are taking this opportunity to launch right in.”

Jane Hopkins, Founder of Mums Club, said: “On behalf of the judges, we were delighted to be able to award Tabitha as a runner-up in her category, she has worked so hard beyond all challenges to establish what is a fantastic business concept. Along with the other nominations, Tabitha’s submission reflected the high standard she had set herself, and had achieved, and is an excellent benchmark for Mum-Entrepreneurs everywhere.”

Tabitha said, “I was just so surprised to hear my name called out and it just all seemed so surreal. I called my family and my clients to announce the wonderful news and they were all delighted for me. I got some lovely messages of support from fellow businesses on Twitter too!”.

Mimi Myne launches on AffiliateEco

The team at AffiliateEco are pleased to announce that Mimi Myne has exclusively launched on the AffiliateEco Network.

Mimimyne is the brain child of Tabitha Potts, a mother of two small boys who worked previously as a TV researcher, web content editor and author (she co-wrote Bringing Up Baby; The New Mother’s Companion with Daisy Goodwin). Tabitha has had a life-long interest in the environment as she was brought up by hippy parents who recycled, grew their own vegetables and made their own cheese way before it was considered fashionable to be ‘green’.

She has been fascinated by design for years and started Me Me Mine Ltd when she noticed that there was a lack of eco shops catering to parents who were interested in buying modern, designer-made products for their children which were created with sustainability in mind. She and her family are now ‘growing up green’ in East London.

Me Me Mine Ltd was set up with the express intention of promoting sustainably produced and environmentally aware modern design for children in the UK and Europe. All their products are either handmade in the UK by designer-makers (this cuts down on the carbon footprint of products and encourages local craft and design), produced from a sustainable source (eg FSC forestry products), created from recycled materials (recycled vintage fabric is used by several of their designers), made of organic materials (eg organic cotton) or Fair Trade (providing a fair living wage for workers in the country of manufacture).

They have tried to consider the environment at every step when sourcing these products, and they hope you – and the planet – will breathe a sigh of relief when you and your children use them!

Affiliate Partners will earn 7% commission on each sale they generate.
